10:06 pm	Day 2- The Standoff Continues Today was an eventful day. We got a lot done on the ransom front. Our webmaster was fired the other day, so we needed to hire a new one. We think we've picked a pretty good successor. We do a very good job at keeping up on the pear thief news front, so a punctual webmaster was needed. Secondly, the pear was a little fiesty today, however, no ransom recieved yet. Hopefully, it'll come soon. In fact, we've written a haiku in honor of the event: we need money now the pear hurts inside his place peace quiet river. Over and out.
